Renewing and reserving items
How to renew items
Log in and renew items online.
Alternatively, call our automated renewal service on 0333 370 4700. You will have to input your library card number (the one right below the barcode) and your PIN; please keep them at hand.
Please note:
- items may be renewed up to a maximum of ten times via your account online, our automated renewals service or at any Brent Library, or a library part of The Library Consortium (TLC)
- renewals will be declined if the item is reserved by another customer
- after the maximum limit is reached, you will have to visit a library to renew the items.
How to reserve items
Log in to make a reservation online or drop in any Brent Library: your reserved items will be sent to the branch of your choice and you will receive a notification when the item is ready for collection.
Please note some Library Consortium services might charge for reservations.

A member of the library team will aim to get back to you in seven working days to let you know if we are able to add your request title from our own stock or have purchased the title.
Please note, we are unable to reserve items unsuitable for Brent Library stock and this can include non-book formats such as videos and music CDs and single use items such as work books or colouring books.
